E IEP PRo

This is an interesting piece of software that let's special education teachers create and maintain their students Individualized Education Programs. IEP pro is a web based application that makes it easy for Sped. teachers to

meet the school district's exact needs with fully integrated, compliant, state-based modules such as student profiles, conference reports, CSt & MET referrals, Prior written notice, evaluation reports, and more. It is really a very useful and time saving tool.

Graphic Organizers

By C. Colcord

One of my favorite tools to use as a special education teacher are graphic organizers.

Graphic organizers allow my students to organize their ideas in a logical order and they provide students with the ability to make lists of items that they might use in their writing. They are especially useful as a prewriting activity. They are also useful for brainstorming ideas and outlining ideas. There are a number of websites that have graphic organizers that teachers can download and there are websites that have graphic organizers that you can use online. Below is a list of links to each kind.
